Divisibility Rules

·         A number is divisible by 2 if the last digit is even

·         A number is divisible by 3 if the sum of the digit is divisible by 3

·         A number is divisible by 4 if the 2 last digits are divisible by 4

·         A number is divisible by 5 if the last digit are 5 or 0

·         A number is divisible by 6 is the number is divisible by both 2 and 3

·         A number is divisible by 9 is the sum of the digit is divisible by 9

3	The sum of the digits is divisible by 3	123 (1+2+3=6) 6 is divisible by 3
4	The last two digit is divisible by 4	312 12 is divisible by 4
5	If the last digit are 5 or 0	125 is divisible by 5 150 is divisible by 5
6	The number is divisible by both 2 and 3	114 (1+1+4=6 and 6÷3 = 2)
9	The sum of the digits is divisible by 9	1629 (1+6+2+9=18)
